Are there any ongoing costs for my website (besides the initial design/development fee)?

The main ongoing costs to consider are hosting and maintenance. Hosting is where your website lives on the internet – you can choose to host with PixelKraft or any provider of your choice. If you host with us, we have monthly plans (see our Hosting section) ranging from $24/month (basic unmanaged) up to $199/month (premium managed) depending on the level of support and maintenance you want. Domain name renewal (usually ~$10-20/year) is another small ongoing cost. Aside from hosting, if you need ongoing updates or support, you might opt for a maintenance plan or retainer (discussed in Post-Project Support). There are no mandatory ongoing fees to PixelKraft after the site is launched, unless you choose additional services. The site we deliver is yours (after final payment) – you can maintain it yourself if you prefer. However, things like security updates, content changes, or digital marketing efforts are often worth investing in on an ongoing basis to keep your website effective and secure. We’ll be happy to outline expected ongoing costs during our proposal, so you have a clear picture.
