How long does a typical web design project take?

Project timelines can vary based on the scope and complexity. However, a typical small business website (brochure-style site of ~5-10 pages) usually takes about 4–6 weeks from kickoff to launch. This includes time for design, feedback, development, and revisions. Larger or more complex projects (for instance, an e-commerce site or a site with custom features) may take 8–12 weeks (2–3 months) or longer. We’ll give you a timeline in our proposal. Meeting that schedule also depends on timely feedback from you and providing any content or materials we need. We strive to hit agreed deadlines and will keep you updated if any adjustments are needed. If you have a specific launch date or deadline, let us know – we will do our best to accommodate it in the planning phase.
