We guarantee that we will deliver the work described in our agreement to a professional standard. While we can’t guarantee specific business outcomes (e.g., “your sales will double” – that depends on many factors outside a website alone), we do guarantee satisfaction with our work quality. If something isn’t right, we will work to fix it. Additionally, many of our services have implicit guarantees:
- Websites we build will meet the agreed specifications and designs. We’ll test functionality thoroughly.
- We ensure sites are launched without critical bugs, and we fix any that surface shortly after launch.
- For SEO or marketing services, while we can’t promise a #1 Google rank (no one legitimately can), we do use best practices and honest techniques to improve your visibility. We’ll communicate results and adapt strategies if something isn’t working.
- If third-party integrations are involved, we guarantee we’ll set them up correctly, but their uptime or performance is subject to those providers (we can’t, say, guarantee Stripe’s payment gateway never goes down, but we can guarantee we’ll configure it properly).
Lastly, our proposals typically include a clause about warranties – usually something like a 30-day warranty on code. This means if any bugs or errors are found within 30 days of launch, we fix them at no cost. In reality, even beyond that window, we often assist loyal clients with minor fixes as a courtesy.
